High standards of environment hygiene
The new formulation has proven efficacy in the new rigorous 4-Field Test (BS EN16615:2015). It is bactericidal, fungicidal, yeasticidal, mycobacteriacidal and virucidal.
A breakthrough in non-woven technology
All Tuffie wipes feature a new and improved triple layered fabric with, emboss pockets and a microfiber core which absorbs and traps surface soils and holds onto bacteria and bio-film to prevent cross-contamination. The triple layered construction gives strength, softness, absorbency and is non-linting.
Outstanding performance and choice
Cleans and sanitises all hard surfaces and non-invasive equipment. Tuffie 5 wipes are packaged in standard 225-wipe buckets, 150-wipe flexible canisters and dispenser refill packs.
Can the Tuffie 5 wipes be used on any equipment?
Tuffie 5 can be used on all surfaces, equipment and non-invasive medical devices unless stipulated otherwise by the manufacturer of the equipment being cleaned. This means the user will only require one product for most (if not all) their cleaning and disinfecting needs.
What are the active ingredients, and what makes the product sporicidal?
Tuffie 5 makes use of a synergistic blend of four active ingredients including Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide and two Quarternary Ammonium Compounds. These active ingredients work together to give the product its broad spectrum efficacy. Research proves that the effectiveness of individual ingredients are enhanced in combination to produce particular characteristics.
How long must you wipe the surface for it to effectively eradicate bacteria?
Tuffie 5 begins to work instantly on contact and we have tests to prove the product is still ‘active’ on the surface after 12 hours. This means that the product continues to eradicate bacteria that may land on the surface, long after the initial cleaning has taken place, providing an extra barrier of infection control.
