Reduce the risk of cross-infection

Over 50 years ago when we invented the single-use system, we knew it would truly revolutionise the patient experience. Our disposable containers mean you get a clean bedpan, urinal or bowl every time, and the use of our containers has been proven to reduce the risk of cross-infection.

World-class quality

Our world class quality management system ensures product consistency and conformity. At Vernacare, our products are top quality, with ISO 9001:2015 and BSI Kitemark PAS029 (which are used to guarantee the quality of disposable healthcare products). We’re also compliant with ISO 14001:2015 which is an Environmental Management Standard that demonstrates how we minimise our impact on the environment.

How should we clean blood/human waste stains on the supports?

We recommend a sporicidal or detergent wipe is used to clean plastic supports. However they can be cleaned with all major disinfectant products on the market. For blood spills you should consult your local infection prevention guidelines.

Why are your single-use products grey?

Vernacare products are made from clean over issued newspaper. No bleach or dyes are added which helps to make the product environmentally friendly. There is also no danger of any dyes or chemicals leaching out of the product during use, protecting patient and nurse safety.

Can this bedpan be used in Commode chair?

Yes, our bedpan is designed to be used in a Commode chair or in bed, with the use of a support.
