We have considerable experience in the manufacturing and marketing of a portfolio of first aid products that includes adhesive plasters and bandages.

From the first antiseptic dressings developed in the 1880’s in collaboration with Lord Lister, through to the acquisition of the Flexoplast® adhesive plasters brand in 1959, we have always been at the forefront of manufacturing high quality first aid products.

FastAid® for First Aid

Today, the FastAid® brand of plasters and bandages combine high performance with full compliance to appropriate legislation and standards. The range has been significantly developed and expanded since its introduction in the 1970’s to now offer a complete range of high quality plasters, wound dressings, tapes, bandages, wipes, absorbent lint and first aid kits for use by all the family.

With the addition of our FastAid® Advanced plasters, these high performance products bring professional woundcare technology to the home first aid market and offer advanced methods of protection and the promotion of fast, natural healing.

Compliance with Legislation & Standards

Virtually all FastAid® brand products are classified as medical devices and are therefore manufactured in compliance with the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC (as enacted in UK law by The Medical Devices Regulations 2002), and/or the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 for sale into the EU. The products are determined as devices under Rule 4 of Annex IX of the Directive (Annex VIII of the Regulation).

To further demonstrate the high level of care to which these products are manufactured, we are also independently certified to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Consumer Products. The BRC is the lead trade association representing the whole range of retailers, from large multiples through to independent stores. It is recognised worldwide as the authoritative voice of retailers. The Consumer Products Standard focuses on the manufacture of safe and legal consumer products of a consistent and required quality.

The majority of FastAid® brand products are manufactured in the UK at our Worksop manufacturing facility. This allows the company to maintain full control over the quality and supply of the products.

High Quality Manufacturing

We use high performance materials to ensure the end product delivers to customer satisfaction. FastAid® Advanced plasters use a high quality substrate that is strong and durable. It is also highly breathable to help prevent skin maceration, or wrinkling. FastAid® waterproof plasters share the same material for optimum performance.

Massive stocks of finished goods and raw materials are held across the full range of products to maintain a reliable, uninterrupted supply to customers. We also work closely with retailers to develop and offer own brand solutions for high volume or specialist ranges.

All products are supplied in attractive and distinctive packaging designed to reflect the product tiering, whilst remaining eye-catching and consistent across all products within the range. Packaging is informative for the consumer with details to assist product selection, pack contents and clear instructions for use. All plasters are supplied in packs that are free standing and also have integral euro slot tabs, offering a choice of how the product is displayed. Selected products are supplied in retail ready packaging (RRP) to optimise merchandising.

Considered together, we have an outstanding, comprehensive range of high performance, high quality products available from stock, to satisfy both consumers and retailers.
